There’s no good side to this but I’m slow to blame the police for everything when someone dies.

Say what you wish but there is plenty of blame for all parties.

As for the Mother of the deceased; how long before she’ll be surrounded by the Rev’s Sharpton/Jackson screaming to the tops of their lungs, Police Brutality?

Money, lots of it, will bring silence.

I hear what you are saying but this whole idea of distributed responsiblities has been pushed over the last half century, especially by lawyers. That is why in a crash, you can give Ford Motor Company 10% of the blame and have a great lawsuit.

My previous example of blaming a gun owner whose gun is stolen for the crimes of the thief is a good example.

Bottom line is that they knew there were children the house and stormed it anyway, killing a mother with a baby in her arms.

In 1980, there were 900 SWAT Teams in this country. Now there are over 90,000. Less then 5% of them are properly trained, and this is a perfect example of that.

Speaking of money. Do you know what’s ironic. You can’t beg some of these localities to enforce immigration law because they say it’s a federal matter. But, you throw the incentive of forfeiture laws and you get every agency in the nation, including the small town of Lima (my sister lives in Defiance, right next to Lima and it’s nothing but corn fields for miles and miles in this part of Ohio), acquiring paramilitary gear and doing drug raids.
