As bad as GWB has been on immigration, among the current presidential candidates, who do you see as improving the situation?
Any democrat? I don't think so. Huckabee? He'll give them in-state tuition. Romney? He'll have illegals mowing the lawn at the White House. Giuliani? Mr. sanctuary-city NYC. McCain? He's already proposed amnesty (even though he doesn't want it called that). Thompson? Now, there's an excellent chance for an improvement. Hunter? A definite shot there, unfortunately his candidacy's not looking good at all.
I think you're the one who needs to "Get a grip". The chances for any improvement on the illegal immigration front aren't looking good.
