Obama up by 13 points, McCain up by 4 in Gallup Poll in N.H. Sen. Barack Obama has opened up a 13 percentage point lead over Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton in the battle for votes in Tuesday's New Hampshire primary, according to a Gallup Poll conducted in the state from Friday through this afternoon. The results were just released.

On the Republican side, Sen. John McCain is 4 percentage points ahead of Mitt Romney.

The surveys of 776 New Hampshire residents who are "likely" to vote in the Republican primary and 778 New Hampshire residents who are "likely" to vote in the Democratic primary were all completed after the news from Thursday's Iowa caucuses had been reported.

The rundowns:

Democrats.

• Obama: 41%; up from 32% in the last USA TODAY/Gallup New Hampshire poll, taken in mid-December. • Clinton: 28%; down from 32%. • John Edwards: 19%; up from 18%. • Gov. Bill Richardson: 6%; down from 8%. • No one else above 3%.

I love it! Hillary's people have been out there saying that Obama didn't get a bump from Iowa. Check this out.

If he gets 41%, that’s getting into walking away with it territory. A win that big starts to crush even the wildest comeback theories for Clinton.

No, not John McCain! He is an angry loser close to a breakdown. He will drag the whole GOP down with him.

Wow! I am not sure I buy the Obama figure.

A lot of people will not vote for someone whose name sounds like a Middle Eastern terrorist.

She has more superdelegates. Dem primaries are not winner take all. She is in this for the long term, and you had better not count her out. It is dangerous to underestimate her.

There’s a lot of talk about superdelegates, but they won’t stay on a sinking ship.

They’re people with their own political careers to watch out for.

I don’t think there’s a reasonable scenario under which they she loses the primaries and they actually support her.

I suspect that she and Obama may well stay competitive through Super Tuesday. If he is running away, certainly they will jump ship. If it is close enough, however, the Clintons will threaten and bribe people.

If Barack Hussein Obama wins the popular vote in each state and loses the nomination by super delegate fiat to Hillary.....will this finally break the democrat’s hold on the black vote?
