‘They better not meet in any bar in St. Charles, Mo...can’t swear there!’

I saw that article today....I’m still wondering how its going to be enforced.

I hate Hillary Clinton. I hate Bill Clinton. I want them to rot in hell from whence they sprung.

Is that the kind of compassion you mean?

You know she (Huma) is pretty easy on the eyes.

Hill has much better taste in women than Bill.

(no puns please this is a family hour)

Makes you wonder how the general election will be.

Jimmy Carter's going to be monitoring it.

Oh my gosh, that was a brutal video for the Hillary campaign. That was hard for her to take.

I was wondering who did the video? Was it someone in her campaign? I mean it seemed like the camera man/woman was walking very close to Hillary. And if her bodyguards didn’t stop the man/woman from filming, it’s gotta be someone traveling with the Hillary group.

Oddly enough, that same thing crossed my mind, but was immediately followed by the mental image of me, face down in the mud being piled-on by a dozen or so burly SS dudes...

I agree. I think alot in the media didn’t/don’t like the Clintons but know they are very powerful. Can you imagine speaking the truth in true journalism then she wins. She would destroy any and all who said anything against her. With the power of the Presidency it would be awful.
Now, they see her crumbling, the fear factor is going away. Yeah
..in a free country, one couple has that kind of power. Sad.
I am surprised that older people are voting for her though. The older people I know are still in the earlier years and would never vote for a woman.
Margaret Thatcher she is not!!

They have had a flawed campaign. They don’t have a consistent message. It changes every few days. First it was “uniter”, then “experience”, then it was “likability” then it’s “change” and now it’s “victim” none of those themes carry well because she’s a known quantity. People know her because she was a visible and vocal spokesperson for her husband spinning everything to make him look like a victim.
Most average work-a-day democrats know she’s not going to unite and work with any republican on anything because she’s a polarizing figure. They know she has a history of failed attempts to “change” public policy. They know she’s a dragon lady, it’s been documented in the media and in book many times and they don’t like that from a leader. An emotional speech is one thing, flinging things and swearing is something else. With this latest crying bout, it looks like she’s trying another angle. in general, people don’t trust her because of her history covering up for her husband. I personally feel she did have an emotional moment that wasn’t planned but you can never tell with those people. Britt said that Bill could cry on command.

Back when I worked with them, they polled everything. From her hairstyle to their vacation location, everything was polled and tested. Heck, To this day nobody can really tell you what Bill’s policies were because they changed with every opinion poll, and it worked. Nothing they did was from a point of personal conviction other than dealing with Bill’s misconduct. They don’t have time to poll themes this go around and it shows. Now Super Tuesday is another thing. They’ll sink a lot of cash into research and have a revised theme a week before, you can bank on that.

Carville and Begala will be seen the same as Halfbright and Clarke.. an attempt to bring Bill back and people like him but don’t want a repeat of the late 90’s.
Back then, their audience was growing older (average age for donors was like 68 or so IIRC) and they’re not getting any younger. Younger people don’t have the attention span and their political memory begins with the hanging chad guy and 9/11.

I agree that it could backfire but Carville and Begala are smart.

I agree...We were talking about it last night. It almost makes us feel sorry for her. She has lived her whole life for this and it is all going away.
When I think of all the evilness around them and I think it is going to get even worse the more desperate she gets, I come back to my senses.
Just wish they would go away to Clintonland with all the monies they have made from the people of the USA and all will be well.

Thanks for your thoughtful post. “Known Quantity”, the keywords here.

Poor old Hillary, she got the sh*t end of the Clinton alliance. She cannot reinvent herself. Will not happen.

Some years ago, I worked with a woman who was a staunch Democrat. One day, after Bill dalliances were known, I said something sympathetic about Hillary. She literally went off on me. I realized that day, the affection for Bubba was not extended to Hillary. When I think about it, she is really not remembered as a First Lady with class and distinction. Probably because she isn’t at all classy.

I have always felt that Hillary should have run in 2004, hate for Bush was high, and in spite of lack of experience, she could have won on the emotional vote, kind of like Obama.

I would never underestimate the cunning of her team, if they can get her in control, it will be ugly and not because the voters wanted her. In that case, it may destroy the turnout by disappointment that their hero, Obama, is no longer the man.

If nothing else, there is Arkancide. Hillary and Bill’s last “hope”.
