No Republican nominee since Iowa became prominent in the election process (1976) has failed to win either New Hampshire or Iowa.

Didn't McCain beat George W. in NH in 2000? Then Bush went on to trounce him in SC. The Iowa winners have gone on to be the nominee more times than not, but not all the time. NH hasn't, in the last few election cycles. That's why I no longer consider either to be a bellwether state.

Right, Bush won Iowa, lost to McCain in New Hampshire and than trounced him in SC. Sounds like a game plan for Huckabee.
