LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. --A Mexican teenager who was jailed after refusing treatment for tuberculosis has been deported.

Immigration and Customers Enforcement spokesman Richard Rocha said Tuesday that 18-year-old Francisco Santos and his mother, Enriqueta Palacios, returned to Mexico December 9th. Both were illegal immigrants.

Santos, a day laborer, had been living at home in Duluth and receiving antibiotic treatments for active tuberculosis by the Gwinnett County Health Department since his release from jail in September.

Health officials decided Santos should be jailed on August 24th when he refused to accept treatment for an active, contagious case of TB and then threatened to flee to Mexico.

Could this indicate a nation at long last returning to sanity?

This Mexican must be pretty dumb to refuse free treatment for a deadly disease courtesy of the taxpayers.

Legal immigrants are required to have medical screening to ensure that they do not bring any contagious diseases into the United States. Illegal aliens are not screened and many are carrying horrific third world diseases that do not belong in the USA. Many of these diseases are highly contagious and will infect citizens that come in contact with an infected illegal alien. This has already happened in restaurants, schools, and police forces.

Ain’t no thing. His mama will tape a chicken’s foot dipped in goat crap to his chest for a couple of weeks and he’ll be fine.

Not to mention, mumps, whooping cough, lice and scabies, ring worm and other serious but not necessarily deadly diseases, especially in our public schools or passed in those restaurants where they work worry free.

Add to your list cysticercosis, the encystation of the larva of the pig tapeworm, caused by ingestion of worm eggs through fecal contamination. (BTW, most epilepsy in Latin America is caused by encystation of the larvae in the brain.)

Now, before you go out to your favorite four star restaurant and shell out hundreds of dollars for a meal for you and your date, first ask the Maitre d' where the person making your salad comes from and how well he's washed his hands after using the bathroom.

Heh, heh, I know a woman that would kick coconut shells around the house to keep evil spirits away. She would take her 11 year old kid to a witch doctor, have him strip and lay on a table while the doctor sprinkled the kid with holy water and uttered incantations to chase away the evil.
This was in California.

Wonder how much the plane trip cost. One hospital in Georgia paid twenty five thousand to ship an illegal to Mexico City. Hospital officials decided the trip would be cheaper than the “free” treatment the hospital had to provide. Just another reason hospitals charge us $5, if we’re luck, for an aspirin.
