Saints were psychotic and advances in modern medicine have essentially wiped them off the planet. That's "the view" of comedian Joy Behar, as expressed on national television Wednesday.
Whether or not Behar was joking, "The View" co-host's remarks sparked a loud debate on and off the program.

The View's advertisers must be saints.
The culteure in America...what is good and moral is critcised, and what is immoral and bad is promoted.
Freedom has its price when the baser instincts of man are no longer moderated by a personal sense of descency, or any inner sense of moral boundaries.
Along with freedom, comes responsibility. We have promoted the former, without remembering the latter.
At least Hitchens makes a good martini.
Muslims don’t get denegrated because they don’t put up with it.
Christians need to start pushing back (not with violence like Islam) and let these people we won’t put up with them denegrating the faith of 85% of our country.
You mean we have people in America that call evil good and good evil? Someone had something to say about that... let me see...
Isaiah 5:20
Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.
They’re the Saints. From New Orleans.
IIRC, there was a booked published in the last couple of years that made the same claim. Supposedly as a legitimate hypothosis.
Behar is psycotic for saying saints are.

Empty barrels make the most noise.
For some reason the photo did not show up on my computer. Thanks for the heads up. I was getting really confused.
Thanks for the reference...nice to see I agree wtih The Authority.
I think the list has been further extended to include
replacing the cherries in chocolate covered cherries with 2 week old mayonnaise.
But I could be mistaken...
Mother Teresa clearly heard the voice of Jesus telling her what her mission was to be -for months- it is described in great detail in her latest book, "Come, be My Light".
Her despair came later, when she felt the sweet consolation of His presence, which she had enjoyed for so long, was withdrawn. This was a great spiritual test for her, and one she later felt to be absolutely essential to her work, as it allowed her to feel the loneliness of spirit that those she served felt.
Clearly, Ms Behar, did not read her book, nor did she understand Mother Teresa's spiritual journey.
She's an example of, "Those who speak, know it not..."
is there anyone who is as ugly inside AND out like this ole blistex witch ?
I think they know Hillary can wipe up the floor with Huckabee and they want him as the Republican candidate. Hillary was a spoiled, cute little girl and she can now afford all the spoiling, grooming and pampering she wants in order to keep the Grim Reaper of age at bay (at least on the surface). As far as looks go, Romney could hold his own with her. Thompson is the only conservative and might be able to beat her. I also think that she will “tap” Obama to run for VP - if her big ego will allow it. If we’re lucky her big ego will sink her somewhere along the line.
Who is Joy Behar and what is “the view”?
