“So many of your views are my views. I keep saying, over and over again, that we share many goals in common...but that Ron Paul is not the answer. That is my point here.”

When Huckster Mitt and Rooty are the leaders of the campaign, the time to work inside the party is fast drawing to a close.

I used to think Paul was nuts - until I paid attention to what he actually said and did vs what what I read about him in the FR echo chamber.

Partial quotes, out and out lies, etc - all posted to breaking news and staying there a good long while. If Hunter drops out before Super Tuesday then Paul will get my vote in the AZ primary. I know he won’t win - but what better way to ensure that a brokered convention gave us a limited government candidate than supporting the candidate who best supports limited government? The primaries are the time to make your voice heard - and the consensus RINOs want to shut that down by saying, get out. I’m not having it anymore.

Not that I have tons of information on him yet, so I cannot entirely speak credibly about all his positions, but I’m curious: what do you think about Bobby Jindal down in Louisiana?

I agree with most of Paul’s domestic agenda, but his foreign policy nostrums are dangerous for our country, which is why I cannot support him. He “bought the farm” in terms of his agreement with the paleo-libertarian view of the evils of American intervention overseas, which are similar to those of leftists like Noam Chomsky. I have my disagreements with U.S. foreign policy, such as our ill-advised venture into the Balkans under Clinton and our failure to pursue victory in Iraq and Afghanistan under Bush. However, the United States has been a force for good, as the aggressors and villains of the past 75 years have been the tyrannical regimes such as Nazi Germany, imperial Japan, the Soviet Union and its satellites, Red China, and the Muslim terrorists, which we have taken on.
