I’ve read several other articles in the past which state that the standard of living for middle class
Europeans is equivalent to how the working poor live in America.

Hmmmmm....from what I’ve personally seen from my travels to Europe, a lot of “middle class” Europeans live in very old, very small homes with no garages or yards, and are forced to ride public transportation everywhere. That alone is a lower standard of living for most Americans.

No it is not a lower standard of living. Europeans have the Utopian standard that the rats envision. We are raping this good earth with our large homes, cars, boats, malls, private schools, and over consumption. The rats intend to make us live a sustainable lifestyle according to their Utopian vision.

I wonder if it has anything to do with Europeans having different desires and expectations than we do. I wonder how many Europeans feel “forced” to ride public transportation, or really want a big house with more space than they need. I think they may be more into having what they need, as opposed to our bigger is better mentality.
