That said, if there are women who are behaving in ways that make a negative impact on discipline and morale, they should be kicked out on their butts. Of course, that goes for the guys too. Takes two to tango.....

I agree 1000%.

Others have mentioned something that is puzzling me as well. Why do the Marines have mixed living situations? Who the heck thought that was a good idea? Must have been a Clinton appointee.

Per Fox update - Jonathon Seri(?)

Sheriff will have a news conference at noon EDT.

Too many inconsistencies in reporting - i.e. *step-mother*, *mother*, *adoptive mother*.

Boyfriend, room-mate, boarding house, base housing.

History of bi-polar disorder - before military service? - after rape? - did the rape result in the pregnancy?

Due date: January, February???????????

I wondered the same thing. Not sure if this was on or off post. Just doesn’t make sense, unless it was a suite situation where they only shared a bathroom or something. Still...... yuk!

Why do the Marines have mixed living situations?
They don't in the barracks. One of the news casts showed the entrance to Midway Park, which is on-base housing for married Marines.
At least it was for married Marines back when I was at Camp Lejeune in the late 60s.
My guess is that even though single, she qualified for the non-barracks housing and then decided to share it with a "friend."
