How many are needed in each party to sew up the nomination?
I think it's a bit over 1,100 for the Republicans (1,131 sticks in my head, but I'm not sure) and a bit over 2,000 for democrats.
The dems have about 850 "superdelegates" who aren't selected by primary or caucus.
