Exactly. While he was bragging about being the most like Reagan on the issues, he was acting the most un-Reaganlike in demeanor. Reagan had a way of always making it being about the message, and about his audience being the best they could be. If Reagan made a dig at an opponent, it was usually in a charming, light-hearted way, like Reagan knew he was in control and had nothing to fear. Thompson was not like that. He attacked Huckabee like he was desperate for a win...any win. Too bad, because I like Thompson.

I have to say, if anyone emulated Reagain in demeanor, it was the two candidates that so many here despise.
