1) Fave - Still don't have one. (Need one by Feb 5.)
2) Tolerable - Huck, Romney, Fred, Hunter.
3) Whatever - Rudy, McCain.
4) Hell no! - None are worse than Hillary and Obama.
Run Paul is a 3, sneaking up toward a 2. This country NEEDS some Constitutional foundation. I'm obviously not happy with his defense posture.
It’s truly disheartening to me that the American public is filled with so many people who live and die by the soundbite.
Fred Thompson is BY FAR the most substantive, thoughtful conservative candidate in this race - in fact, I’d say he’s the best this country has seen since Reagan. In a heads-up contest against any Dem candidate - where the MSM would have no choice but to sit back and let Fred speak directly to the entire nation - he would easily expose their vacuous posturing and preening.
And yet, who are the Republican party bouncing back-n-forth for the nomination?
The Preacher, the Pilot, and the Pompadour.
Pathetic.
#1. Fred Thompson
All the rest are hell no.

2) Tolerable: Thompson
3) Whatever: all the others
I only have two:

We need to keep the dem candidate, whomever he/she/it is, out of the White House.

Paul, Romney, Giuliani- 4
Fave: Fred, Duncan
Hell No: Everyone else
1) Thompson
2) Romney - distant 2nd, but he has less negatives than the rest of them.
3) Paul - yeah, he’s a kook isolationist, but he’s constitutionally based and I’m basically an isolationist too.
4) Huckabee, McCain, Giuliani - I’d rather vote for Obama and get a GOP-minority congress to stonewall everything.

My ranking:

Romney 1, This is my guy!
Giuliani 2, Tolerable
Huckabee 3, Whatever
McCain 4, Hell no! I’ll sit out. Call me a maveric Republican.
Paul 4, Hell no! I’ll sit out
I will not vote for any of the following:
Romney: Good...seemed weak/unsure of himself tonight.
Huckabee: Good or a bit better. Not his best performance
Comment on his faith and religious beliefs was good. Had some of his “conservative” mask pulled away.
McCain: Moderate. Steemed a bit nasty. Suffered a few bad camera angles. Seemed weak and “bureaucratic”
Paul: Poor. Came off as un-schooled and weasel-like...comment about “five little boats” was one of the most idiotic statements I’ve ever heard in a Presidential debate. It never ceases to amaze me that there are seemingly educated and successful conservatives actually support this clown. I'm happy that Fox allowed him to participate, tonight, because he clearly showed that he was not fit to lead this nation.
