It is a time for choosing. Do we wish to spare ourselves the weak homilies of Republican candidates that just as readily as the Democrats call the citizenry to the hope of the public trough? Do we seek political peace at any cost and reconciliation of Conservative and Liberal ideas in order to just get something accomplished?
I for one will stick with Reagan. There is a price I will not pay, and there is a point where I will not let the left advance! Fred Thompson is my line in the sand.

I dearly love Reagan, the greatest President of the 20th century, but if you know his record in detail, some of the things he signed off on in California would have most here screaming. AND... I remember during his two terms how the perpetual whining crowd complained about him, “Didn’t abolish any government agencies, ballooned the budget, a cabinet loaded with NWO types + RINOs, wants free trade with Mexico and Canada, ...” blah, blah blah...

"..the perpetual whining crowd complained about him.."The "perpetual" thing is because the Republican Party perpetually endorses the wrong candidates for office.
The "whining" thing is over now, so I'll skip the "blah, blah, blah".
