This stuff is not really about being gay. Queerdom has been tolerated for millenniums. It’s about gaining power and control for a self-identified group and its backers.

it’s so sad that these homosexuals are so confused in their minds, I in a way feel sorry for these poor souls, well a little as they think they are normal.
the men are more feminine than women, the women are more masculine than men, some think they are women and vica versa. Look at how they dress, they need parades to tell each other that they are normal yet act weird, dress weird and certainly do weird unnatural things and they say they should adopt kids
they really need to check themselves into a mental place and get help
what they don’t understand is that forgert about God on this debate , if nature had wanted homosexuality normal then nature would have let them reproduce .
nature doesn’t and therefore it is not natural(notice the spelling of nature and natural)
what they do is not normal, not natural and certainly should be accpeted as the norm.
I have a man woman marriage bumper sticker on my car and a woman a northerner(I’m down in northern florida) shouts out of the window bigot etc, I pull up next to her at the lights(she thought she would have been able to name call and drive away) I tell her that she is the one who is not tolerant as she cannot accept other opinions without acting like a little baby who has had her toy taken away.
when she hears my accent(I’m english) she turns to me just before she drives away and shouts go back home annd go back to where you come from
seems the bigot was the woman who was shouting from her car, so much for the open mindedness and tolerance of the looney left.
of course when she found out that I wasn’t going to ignore her but confront here she suddenly looked very meek

There may be real truth in what you’re saying. I didn’t keep track of where I read it, but I read an Arab commentator on the web who said that when people in the Middle East read that Jenna Bush took showers in stalls next to men at Yale, that sosrt of thing causes them to turn against the West. They are repelled by our decadence, not our political freedom.
Sadly, it's been the case for quite a while that when the Left has lost an argument, they respond childishly or violently. Here in The People's Republic of Washington, particularly on the "Left" side between Seattle and Olympia, it's been common knowledge that you simply do not put a Republican bumper sticker on your car unless you want the car to be vandalized....same with yard signs. Some areas are worse than others, but you'll generally only see Republican bumper stickers on vehicles from out of the area.
