Is she going to print it in her cellar or take it from us at gunpoint?

My guess is the latter.

“Democratic presidential contender Hillary Clinton on Friday will propose a $70 billion emergency spending package and possibly another $40 billion tax rebate to counter what she sees as a coming recession, according to the New York Times.”

She just added another $30 billion to the National Debt...yet preaches about fiscal responsibility?

Just trying to beat Bush to the punch. Rumors are that Bush will suggest the similar in the State Of The Union address.

As usual, the ‘Rat’s solution to everything is to spend more money and when that doesn’t work, MAYBE they will talk about cutting taxes. After spending more money.

Yo Hillary, want to stimulate the Economy? Make the tax cuts permanent and enact new ones. Forget these gimmicks designed to do nothing but employ more Govt Bureaucrats

Why not just suspend all federal taxes on gasoline. It’s the most regressive tax their is, right?

Where ya been? The "from us at gunpoint" has been going on since the IRS was invented. Every dime they take from us is under threat of arrest, having your property taken away from you and sold, TO PAY YOUR DEBT TO THE IMPERIAL FEDERAL GOVERNMENT!!! That is done under threat of the gun. They will take more, from all US RICH FOLKS!!!!! (that is ANYONE with a job and making money that the government is not already giving you for free) and give it to those so badly in need!!! Boo hoo hoo. The POOR!!! Boo hoo hoo. All those who sat on their lazy asses in school and failed, then dropped out, used drugs, got drunk, got pregnant at 14 or 15, had multiple babies before age 18, did nothing to prepare for life. All those DIMOCRAT voters. Yup. At the point of a gun my friend. Always have, and they will continue. Try not paying your taxes and see who shows up at your door, a GOVERNMENT OFFICIAL, WITH A GUN.

A 70 billion dollar spending package followed by a 40 billion dollar tax rebate sounds like a 30 billion dollar spending package to me. That’s if you would ever see the rebate in a Clinton administration to begin with. Probably it would end up being a 70 billion dollar spending package alone. No matter though, it would simply be added to the deficit. No taxes would be raised. This woman is a dangerous fool.

Nothing new here - Clinton is using the typical political bribery to get votes. Must say that Bush is no better. And before he starts cutting taxes again, he might want to wake up and realize that it is very easy to veto these ridiculous, ludicrous Federal spending bills. The problem is twofold: we are being taxed to death and the Feds are spending us to death. There has to be something in the water in D.C., because people normally go insane once they are living there.

Sell Las Vegas to China, and make sure Harry Reid is part of the package.

FTA:

“Clinton’s emergency spending plan would add to the federal budget deficit and not be offset by tax increases or budget cuts, her campaign told the Times.”

........for a week or two at least.

Now what’s Obama’s offer? LOL

The Dems are going to have so much fun choosing between the lesser of two evils.

I imagine it will be the one that can lie the most so that would be a hard choice.
