The real question is by saying he rejects the literal interpretation of Genesis and the young earth dogma of the fundamentalists, is the Arkansas Elmer Gantry going to turn off some of his evangelical supporters?
I believe many are getting turned off the longer he stays in the race and see what liberal actions he took as governor and the pretense that he will be a conservative if President. He has an awful lot of explaining to do and I don’t think he’s up to it. He sounds like the John Kerry of the GOP.
