I disagree that Fred's best strategic move now is to attack McCain. I think Fred is smart to try to take down Huck now, let McCain and Romney battle it out in Michigan, and then try to beat McCain later after McCain has taken out Mittens.
People can have different views regarding strategy without having been corrupted.
His best bet for taking out McCain is now, in SC. McCain is hugely vulunrable in SC due to Sc’s immigration and employment problems. Fred also needs to spike McCain’s gathering momentum. McCain is starting to pull away in SC.
While it true we have a ways to go to the Primary in SC, Fred doesn’t have a lot of room for error right now.
If Fred loses SC he will be gone long before Mitt. So that strategy would seem to be pretty counter-productive.
