Vacationing in Mexico in the 70’s, 80’s, & 90’s, I know you had to have ID and not just one piece of ID. Canada was also very difficult to enter!!

Canada was VERY easy to enter in the 70s, 80s and 90s. Commonweath came home to roost. And there were BUSLOADS of Indians and Pakis coming to Buffalo NY, for "shopping". The buses arrived in the USA packed with humanity and left empty. Somehow, these aliens found homes in the shopping malls of Erie county, New York.

I stand corrected - I do remember what you are referring to.

But in the 80’s we had trouble getting into and out of Canada while living in WA state.
