Michigan is a must win for McCain because of his fabled appeal to the independents. Romney need only do well with the GOP voters.

WOW, even Hewitt is expecting a Romney loss in Michigan?!

Hugh is just carrying water for Mitt. Mittens is going to lose his home state and it’s time to start papering over the loss, a la Iowa, New Hampshire.

Michigan has an open primary where Democrats and Independents can vote for the Republican nominee. It's hard to tell how it will pan out.

I like Hewitt. I like Romney. But Hewitt on Romney is just over the top, vomit inducing nonsense. He has delcared the race "over" or "down to two, Mitt and Rudy" or "Mitt and McCain" or "Mitt and Santa Claus" continuously for months now.

Hewitt should STFU about this race. He is doing Mitt a lot more harm than good, and his listeners are unlikely to forgive or forget his total abandonment of conservative broadcasting principles. You know, present the facts, let the listerners make their own decisions.

I've pretty much given up listen to the round-the-clock Romney-a-thon that Hewitt puts on. It's back to Savage or the local guy, Lars Larson for me.

I suspect his show will never recover from this.
