Forget the cabinet. McCain will choose Lieberman as his Veep. You can bet on it.

A little off topic, but, wth - McCain has been calling himself a Baptist since he started campaigning in SC. LOL. This is after a lifetime of calling himself an Episcopalian.

If McCain gets the nomination AND gets Hillary, he could win 40 states. With that would come Republican seats in the House.

Gotta leave Cabinet spots for Huck and Thompson, for being
cooperative during the campaign. Like, not attacking McCain at all during last night's debate.
Huck indicated to the NYT reporter that he would like Interior or HHS.
Thompson needs something that isn't that taxing, but will keep Jeri and he on the A-list, invitation wise.

Check this out. http://www.abpnews.com/www/2753.article No big deal IMO, but a presbyterian or lutheran church would seem to make more since coming from and episcopalian background if he was thinking about casually switching churches.

Baptist? Episcopalian?
He is a westerner. The GOP can't win with a north easterner or a southerner

LOL. John McCain approached John Kerry in ‘04 about becoming his running mate. LOL. Do you want the link?

Forget the cabinet. McCain will choose Lieberman as his Veep. You can bet on it. I wouldn't bet on it. Given McCain's age, he will want to pick someone considerably younger than himself as VP. That would eliminate Lieberman.
I think Gov. Pawlenty is much more likely. We need someone who will help us pick up a blue state with a lot of EV.

We need someone who will help us pick up a blue state with a lot of EV.I appreciate your concerns, but McCain isn't interested in what we conservatives need. His entire career is based on sticking it to us every chance he gets. He's been my Senator for decades; this is how he operates.
Just look at all his major bills: McCain-Lieberman, McCain-Kennedy, McCain-Feingold, etc., etc. If he gets the nomination, he will no longer about "what's best for the GOP." He will tack WAY to the left and form a "unity ticket."
