We have no work force shortage; there are millions of unemployed Americans, especially in minority communities, who are not listed on unemployment numbers because they're no longer seeking work.
Continued outsourcing of starting level jobs is moronic. Gutting fish, washing dishes, cleaning rooms, drywalling, digging ditches - if you go through the list of presidential candidates, most of them had these jobs when they were young. Denying these jobs to our youth by importing labor simply means we're cutting off our nose to feed others who have no interest in supporting our nation. How many lawns are mowed by illegals today? Most of them? How many used to be mowed by enterprising young teens who would save up and buy equipment? When was the last time you heard someone working their way through college?
I'm not saying that any presidential candidate gets this; it's too honest for them. If they advocate getting rid of the self-imported illegal aliens, their supporters will bus in illegals to march in the streets in protest; and not one politician can stand the idea of a massive protest.
