Part B of the summary almost looks like something the Clinton Administration would have written! This is something I didn’t expect.

Just go read the Daily Dose thread and consensual reality will fade, fade away..... ;)

“I’ll keep saying this until next November if I live that long, NO MORE RINOS, NOT NOW NOT EVER!!. And if RINORudy the NYC gungrabber is nominated he won’t get my vote no matter how cleverly he uses weasel-words on the issue now that he needs more than NYC liberals to vote for him. I won’t vote for a gungrabber again whether or not he or she is a little better than the opposition on other issues.”

You might as well pull the lever for Hillary or Obama! /sarc

I’m there with you. I would vote for Paul as a 3rd party candidate over any RINO, if he so runs.

The GOP would at least fight Hillary. They’d knuckle under to a RINO.

For what it is worth, the Clintonites have also filed an amicus briefing; I started a thread about it at http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1952991/posts.

“I wonder who sold him that “new tone” BS anyway. Probably a liberal mole.”

The one in his head that ate the rest of his brain years ago.

Puh-leeze! I was quoting the article!! I do not support what they are saying.

And I was responding to that quote, not to your comments on it. Otherwise I'd have quoted what you wrote, not something out of the article.

The real question is how do we stop this nonsense? We must start sending the supreme court the message that they do not have the authority to take away our right to bear arms.

I think I will send the following message to the SCOTUS:

I am a law abiding citizen of the United States of America, and I have the right to life and the right to protect that life. The second amendment to the constitution clearly states that I have the right to bear arms and that right SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED. If the SCOTUS fails to stand up for the citizens of this nation and stop the District of Columbia from violating the second amendment, then I will hold the court in contempt. I will not obey any unconstitutional law, and I will never give up even one of my weapons. All members of the SCOTUS swore to protect and defend the constitution. Do your job.

What do you think?

I have never hurt anyone with any of my weapons and would only do so to save a life, or to protect my liberty. If they outlaw my guns, then I will be an outlaw.
