The Burger Patrol logo features the silhouette of a family running, a hamburger and the words "Department of Hunger Suppression Custom Burger Preparation."

Cute.

I live here in AZ and as un-PC as it may be to say, I am beginning to think that no one working for the border patrol who is Hispanic should be stationed anywhere near the southern border. The Canadian border would be much less tempting. Nearly every case like this for some strange reason always involves hispanic employees.

Bet that carries a much, much lighter sentence than following your duty by shooting an illegal drug runner in the backside.

Tancredo called for the removal of the Border Chief in Laredo a few months ago after that guy said it wasn’t the Border Patrol’s job to stop illegal aliens. It turns out that it was the Laredo BP’s job to smuggle them here. Bush’s Border Chief is still in place down there, of course.

This sounds like a sitcom plot to me. If it weren’t for the seriousness of the whole illegal immigration issue, it would be funny - in a laugh to keep from crying sort of way.

I imagine that was pretty much a red flag.

After what has happened in the prosecution of border agents I look with suspicion of any charges brought through a US attorney’s office. These people, as some others, may be guilty but the evidence will have to be overwhelming and not just some technical problem to convince me.

This criminal border agent won’t do a fraction of the time that Ramos and Compean got.
