I may actually vote for Romney here in Michigan simply because I don’t want McCain, and would love a brokered convention.
Do you sense anything at all up there that might explain a Fred jump in the polls from 5 to 9%? Or do you think this might just be an outlier?
I know 9% is nothing to get excited about, but when a candidate doubles thier support in a week with no apparent mechanism it does raise ones eyebrows.
IMHO that’s the smart move. The race needs to continue into states where they still maintain the quaint custom of only allowing party members to pick party nominees.
I think that's smart, regardless of your real preference. Right now the main thing I want is to stop the McDole coronation. If Michigan can slow him down, we here in the south will finish him off.
...vote for Romney.”
Please do it to stop McCain. I live in Pennsylvania. In this dumb state, the meaningless primary is sometime in April. I never have a chance to vote to determine the Republican candidate. Use your vote strategically and urge every Republican you know there to do the same. Otherwise it’s going to be a McCain-Huckabee ticket. Abominable!
