In comments made at the National Defense University on 1 December 2005, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Peter Pace explained to his audience the importance of understand[ing] the nature of the enemy if we hope to defeat jihadi extremists. Comparing our situation today, with that faced by an earlier generation who had to deal with the reality of the Nazi threat, General Pace suggested a simple solution to complying with his injunction: read what our enemies have said. Remember Hitler
. He said in writing exactly what his plan was that we collectively ignored to our great detriment (emphasis added). Just as we ignored Hitlers articulation of his strategic doctrine in Mein Kampf, so too are we on the verge of suffering a similar fate today, if we fail to seriously assess the extremist threat based on jihadi strategic doctrine.

I for one do not buy into he idea of moderate moslims.I hink when the time is right they will all be on the side of the radicals.
I do need to buy into a new key board that has a T that works all the time.
Read the first chapter. Will read all of it in time. Very interesting thesis paper. Seems to be dead-on right.

I know there must be those in the US government (and other governments) who understand the gravity of the situation we, the West, are facing. However, they are so few and far between, and their voices are so muted, that it is as though all of government is a uniform pudding of un-comprehension.
I believe we have become a victim our own success at keeping the big events, since Sept 11, 2001, from happening here in America, and successfully labeling the small events as mere “isolated incidents.” What ties those “isolated incidents” together is islam and the koran.
Every aspect of the structure above is directly related to the foundation it is built upon.
Since the guy has been fired from what is presumably some DoD inner circle of policy makers, now what?
It looks like the phonies are in charge. Not good.
ALL of my thoughts on “moderate” muslims can be summed up with this shirt: http://www.cafepress.com/lcvending/4442573
