It is his birthday on 20th January
~~~
WOW! That means in 2009, on the next
Presidential Inaugural and the day
he leaves government service, it will
be VP Cheney’s birthday. Wonder how
many times that’s happened in history.
OK .. I wondered what I missed. I gotcha.
Hope things get are less stressful for you
soon, and I DO love that picture .. ;)
Victory was achieved by the United States of America for the good of the world; that by doing the hard work now, we can look back and say, the United States of America is more secure, and generations of Americans will be able to live in peace."
The final page would not assert "doing the hard work now . . ." "will be . . .".
The FINAL page will say what was accomplished:
Victory was achieved by the United States of America for the good of the world.
Period.
Great pictures. Thank you. As many have said, he is a great President and history will judge him as such. I pray we will get another close to his character and integrity in our next selection. I pray Americans will see the light and elect the best man.
Maybe .. but I think it looks more like
photographic distance perspective.
But it could when .... “we can look back and say.”
Amen .. may we be so blessed, again.
Thnaks for the original ping to the great Dose & to the NICK PING.. I have not noticed him lately either.. always a curiosity.
Hope there is not a problem or illness with him.
Love all the pix.. he seems more relaxed & happy where there are untold death threats against him than here in the good old USA with the evil sharks at his throat continually. The ones with the sword are a hoot. Of course the troops love him & he loves them.. He always glows when he is with them
could be, but was thinking that the King would always get bigger and better
I think I got that wrong I called up bio on him and it said 20th I think it is 30th because I think I remember thinking it was his birthday a few days after leaving office I will have to check that out tomorrow
Checked again and it is 30th not 20th sorry for error
I am so glad I was able to find this GEM for us! (((hugs)))
No problem .. ;)
STARWISE: WOW! Thank you for posting such an AWESOME DOSE! Our President has never looked better!
MIDDLE EAST INDEBTED TO BUSH
By SALIM MANSUR
This week’s journey of U.S. President George W. Bush to the Middle East — the itinerary beginning with Israel includes visits to the Palestinian territories, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates and Egypt — is greatly significant and yet, in keeping with his temper, a low-keyed affair as the last remaining months of his presidency unfold.
We likely can surmise there is one more visit to the region still to be made by Bush.
This will be a visit to Baghdad with an address to Iraq’s democratically elected parliament before Bush takes leave from the White House for his ranch in Crawford, Tex.
You can read the entire commentary here: [This article was also posted at FR earlier today.]
She did get two pictures, one of which is the same as one that appeared of the president at the podium but from a greater distance and very grainy. I think she used a zoom.
I’m so impressed and inspired by the pictures I’ve seen today. I think I’ll put them on my display at work.
She was in Iraq in ‘03 - good year. This year in Kuwait is very busy, but a cakewalk ...
I need to learn how to post pictures ...:-)
Thanks, Snugs!
Please thank your daughter for her courageous service! . . . You’re both GREAT Americans!
Me2~! BIG hugs .. ;)
That is SO pretty ... great job, snugs!
