Thanks for the dose - great opening photos, I love the wording on one of them “deplanes” it reminds me of a term we use in shipping “devaned” which means if your consignment is in a container with lot of others unpacking the container and putting the individual consignments into a warehouse ready to send out to the individual consignees.

I do believe he has incredible
guidance and grace ... his faith
(and Laura) ARE his rocks. It is
an incredible element in such a
public official. (And the Libs
can’t stand it .. but, look at
their abyssmal track record
with him.)

As he said in his Inaugural Address:

“.... and an angel still rides in
the whirlwind and directs this
storm.”

I believe that, and I never lose faith
in the outcome. I believe Someone
IS in charge, and no matter what or
how tough, we’ll have what we need to
persevere and endure.

That’s good to know!

We have them, too, but they are imported from the tropics,
and they don’t do too well in this desert clime!

For some reason not sure why but over the last few years they seem to be popular in Ashford but as you say they do look a bit sad out of their natural habitat.

From his visit to Israel ....

Yesterday - laying a wreath at the Holocaust history museum, Yad Vashem, in Jerusalem.

After his visit to Yad Vashem

Yesterday's 'Photo of the Day' .."President George W. Bush is accompanied by two friars as he views the Sea of Galilee Friday, Jan. 11, 2008, during his visit to Capernaum before leaving Israel. According to Scripture, this is where Jesus walked upon the water." Amazing and stirring photo.

FYI ~~ A map of the Middle East. Look at the speck that is Israel. God Bless, Protect and Save Israel

This was the Bahrainis performance art for the President

"Hillary, I know you're counting the days, but you may be surprised at what the mood of the country will be by the end of MY term."

Starwise, are you posting from the WH through Photobucket? I’m asking because I’ve had trouble with Photobucket for a couple of weeks now. I’ve written to them twice and they don’t reply. I’ve SCOURED their FAQ’s, and still haven’t found the solution.

By the way, your pictures did show up on my computer.

Kas, I got only a link from your Photoshop entry. The link worked only when I clicked on it.

All: Am I the only one who had that happen?

No, kit .. I don’t use Photo Bucket for these
pics. I take them right off the url of the
website where they’re shown. Any I want to
save, I typically save to my account at Snapfish.com.
I’ve tried them all, but this seems to be the
easiest to post from I’ve found.
