No “Comeback Gal” The Clintons are in crisis
National Review Online ^ | January 9, 2008 | Michelle Malkin

Posted on 01/12/2008 5:26:45 PM PST by Wallaby

Don’t let the “Comeback Gal” spin fool you. Despite the unexpectedly close finish in New Hampshire, Hillary Clinton’s campaign remains in a tailspin...

You can’t fake a core. You can’t fake charm. And you can’t fake humility. Mannequin Hillary tried during the ABC News debate in New Hampshire over the weekend when questioned about her likeability. “Well, that hurts my feelings,” she coyly purred in attempted mock self-effacement.

One problem: The Clintons are too steeped in the politics of self-entitlement to pull off credible self-effacement. Seated next to a rival who has stolen her liberal thunder and who might make history as the nation’s first black president, Hillary couldn’t help declaring: “I am an agent of change, I embody change. I think having the first woman president is a huge change.”

She can’t tolerate someone else out-politically-correcting her. This was supposed to be her year. Her triumph. Her her-story.

Maybe a few of those tears welling up in her eyes were real after all. Expect more as this contested race — a race she thought would be a cakewalk — continues.

I have not been able to see how a two-percentage-point victory for the Hidabeast translates as her being the overwhelming “comeback kid” she is being portrayed as. The woman has NO charisma (actually she has negative charisma, because when she is on stage with Bill, she makes even Bill look bad).

The only change she has affected is when she dumped Janet ElReno as her lover in favor of her current hajib wearing muslim babe....

I did a speech reversal analysis of her Iowa crying jag.

After about 4 mins of speech she pauses, takes a deep breath, ...
Then the subconscious can no longer keep from telling the truth!

---F-->"As Tired As I Am"...----R--->"My A$$ Is Grass"

So apparently the beast herself (or at least her subconscious) doesn't think much of her chances!

That is the spin. Whatever else you can say about the Clintons, they do that well.

These people can't even formulate competent ideas.

Ugh. Thanks. A rare evening alone with my wife, and you had to plant that image in my head. A bottle of Viagra couldn't rescue my libido now.

"Comeback kid" is the wrong phrase. "Reinfection by Typhoid Hillary" is more like it. We have to keep it up until she is as trashed for President as Teddy Kennedy is. It's a filthy job, but somebody has to do it.

Obama has really piddled on her parade. If there was any real emotion behind the so-called tears, it was raw anger and bitter jealosy.

Janet ElReno

Now wait a minute. Hildebeast may be gender challenged, but what woman or man would let Jackboot Janet near them?

A caller last week to Rush's program had a great insight:

When W has wept during his term of office, it was for others. Medal of Honor winner, families of fallen soldiers, victims of terrorism, victims of the Holocaust.

When Hillary wept, it was for herself.

The Clintons: It's All About Them.
