The funny part is in some ways the legislature is helping us by shooting down Deval’s proposals, etc. (DiMasi et al).
Thanks to badgering of them by talk radio listeners,
the Mass Leg. DID shut down the previous attempt to
give free tuition to illegals. They can be helpful when
the voter’s voices are heard.
Agreed on Dukakis,and Deval’s doing the same. Which is why it was so annoying to hear those ads Deval was doing for some
let’s-Make-It-In-Massachusetts-type group. “This is Deval
Patrick,and I’m here with...” It’s Deval and his high taxing/
high regulation ways that are chasing businesses out
of state.
I think that what’s going on between Deval and the Legislature is like two mob families fighting over turf. We just haven’t seen the dead bodies yet...
The Legislature doesn’t usually like listening to the voters....
