Above story seems to be part of a pattern where the MSM outsources the news on Iraq to India and China to avoid breaking its template in the US. See this one too.

They certainly have taken their time on this all important issue. Better to get it right then for a down the road collapse as any given province tried to supersede the central government on this issue.
