I was thinking the same thing. One of our candidates should reply to the Beast’s comments by reminding voters that it took the backing of Congressional Republicans to get the Civil Rights Bill passed. Can’t depend on a reporter to remind her of it now, can we?
Hillary also took a swipe at President Eisenhower, saying his administration did nothing to support civil rights. I think she is mistaken on that.
