I in general do NOT like umbrellas and Especially if someone else tries to carry it.. for some reason I get bumped in head & rather than a gentle rain get a blob of it as the umbrella is moved.
I am guessing these attaches & “officials” who do this are not as clumsy as my well meaning but obtuse male friends!
