I have studied the middle east and Islam. I know many Muslims. I would wager you are either one of them practicing Taqqiyah here or you are an appeasing limp-wrist who throws inane challenges at the beliefs of others when lacking his own personal knowledge.
I am neither a muslim nor a ‘limp wrist’. I am a strong advocate of a powerful, well-funded military and of using to if neccessary to set an example for others who would dare to challenge us.
However, I like to think I am not a bigot, and I do not advocate wholesale discrimination against muslims just because some of them are terrorists, any more than I would advocate discrimination against men just because some of them are rapists...
Where in the New Testament is there any proclamation to do nasty things as a daily commandment?
I’d say the same for the Old (Jewish), where there were no forever-standing rules saying all must do this evil thing.
Yes, there were stories of pointed attacks, etc, that God directed. But they were not general rules to live by.
Common sense. They are different.
In the world of liberalism, bigotry is the greatest sin. You are outting yourself. Again, you seek moral equivalence. If there was a religion for which rape was holy writ, guess what... I would suspect all men of that religion to be potential rapists--or enablers. That is a more accurate analogy.
“So youve met at least four muslims then eh? Well, I guess you know all there is to know about an entire demographic group based on a casual acquaintence with FOUR of them. Please tell me more...
“
Can you tell me how many muslims I need to know before I am qualified to recognize a threat to my culture and/or my life? Four isn’t enough, eh? How about 14, 24, 1,000,004? How many rapists, murderers, or thieves do I need to know to recognize their threat to me & mine?
(the answer is ZERO, BTW)
Simply reading the koran, hearing the words of it’s most vocal proponents, & seeing the deeds done in its name are all I need to know.
I have worked with and met quite a few. But I’ve also read the koran. Like “Mien Kampf” it’s a blue print for the domination of the world by one group of people. Unlike “Mien Kampf” it spells out in rather graphic terms what is to be done to any person or people who resist subjugation.
