Go to her web site, and scroll down to the pictures. She's in front of a large American flag. The stars sre inverted - upside down - in the blue field! Have you ever seen a flag like that?

While it appears pretty odd, I don't see where the position of the stars is specified.
U. S. Code, TITLE 4, CHAPTER 1THE FLAG
Ed Zachary. See post #71...
LOL! Probably.
Wow ... I need to get my eyes checked. I saw your #72, with the picture and totally missed your #71, with the explanation.
I read somewhere that the flag used to be normal-facing (field on left) on both shoulders. One of the US Generals saw the flag on the uniform, and to him, it appeared that the soldier was running backwards when viewed from the right.
None of his soldiers would run from a fight, they would run TO the fight, always advancing forward. So the flag on the right shoulder was reversed, to indicate forward movement.
The flag on the left shoulder is field-left, also indicating forward movement.
good thing nothing like that has ever happened to me...
Thanks very much. The star issue was pointed out to me, and I didn’t see it posted here yet. I’m not in the habit of visiting the Hillary site - ecch!
PS I enjoy hearing you on the Mark Levin show!
nope could be her’s the stars are not upside down
please try and keep up
Being stars, that 36 deg tilt is exactly what is required to make them appear upside down. Fitting, isn't it? Only thing more fitting would be if just a few of them were upside down: NY, CA, MA...
I posted her flag upside down. ;-)
.
Before y’all get too far along...
Why are the stars on the Republican elephant upside down?

Ok thats better I just need to turn my monitor over.
The link provided above about flag ettiquite explained the military’s “backwards flag”, and there is nothing “illegal” or even against code about it.
The stars are supposed to be worn closest to your heart, according to the page.
The flags are made so they look like the soldier is advancing. Also, if you think about a soldier carrying a flag while advancing, the flags on the two shoulders are what you would SEE from the left and right of the soldier while he is running.
I disagree with the American Legion on this one.
That website is a load of crap, though. There is a humungous difference between an inverted pentagram (=goat’s head, etc.) and a right-side-up pentagram (=5 wounds of Christ, for instance). That site lumps them altogether, occasionally mixing in a little antisemitism: A “Star of David” is drawn out of what is, in fact, merely a triangle. And the triangle doesn’t even have the proper angles (60 degrees) to form a hexagram.
It looks more like they’re leaning.
isn’t the actual tilt 72 degrees not 36?
