British PM urges no-consent organ harvesting

London - Prime Minister Gordon Brown yesterday threw his weight behind a move to allow hospitals to remove organs from dead patients without explicit consent. Writing in the Sunday Telegraph, Mr. Brown said such a move would save thousands of lives and that he hopes such a system can start this year. The proposals would mean consent for organ donation after death would be automatically presumed, unless individuals had opted out of a national register or family members objected.

The State is Mother, the State is Father, and they own your body unless you positively absolutely opt out and the doctors find your opt-out card before they take everything they want after they've assumed you're dead.

Sums up nicely the difference in rights one has between being a Citizen and a Subject. The rights of a Citizen come from God, the rights of a Subject come from the Government.

Here in the US there was a move by a state to try to require you to OPT OUT of organ donation.
