US and China are the 2 biggest dogs on the block, and we WILL have to duke it out eventually. There’s no escaping this.

You have to take into the consideration that nuclear weapons have greatly reduced the likelihood of direct conflict between nuclear states as it tremendously increases the potential costs involved of such a conflict. Then there is the fact that do to the global economy and large trade between the two countries, there is little incentive for other China or us to go to war as there is far too much to lose and little, if anything, to gain.
