Not all homosexuals are trying to redefine marriage, and on a personal level evangelicals generally get along well even with those who are.

Given that there are many gay people who oppose the concept of gay marriage, and that this supposed staffer theoretically already knows Huckabee’s stances, I can’t see where any conflict would arise.
