Giuliani's must-win Florida strategy is in trouble.... McCain moved up 9 points, supported by 22% likely GOP primary voters, compared to Giuliani's 20%, down 8 points (Quinnipiac). Huckabee and Romney got 19%..... Giuliani's poor performance in Iowa and NH is negatively impacting his candidacy........"he staked his entire campaign on winning Florida and that lead has evaporated," the pollster said. But there is a silver lining - 59%, including many Northeast transplants and Cuban-Americans, swear they will not abandon him.......only 42% of McCain's backers say they'll stick with him.

Giuliani got rattled and was chased away from a campaign stop when pro-lifers showed up at a Florida speaking event. Giulini ran the other way rather than face pro-lifers. Rooty's private life epitomizes Planned Parenthood's condomized Fully Fornicating society (Giuliani donated to PPhood, and NARAL honored Mayor Rooty's exhaustive efforts to advance abortion rights.)
Unzipped Rudy is something else. Rudy had no qualms causing the public humiliation of his second wife by dumping her at a news conference without even telling her. He tried to dump his two young kids out in the streets---saying he was dividing the Mayoral mansion in two---to move in his mistress. Married Rudy's porking his mistress on the public dime and hiding the theft of public services in obscure city agencies, then lying about it to voters.
Giuliani's messy personal life is a big turnoff to women voters. It makes wives and moms around the country skeptical of putting him in the White House. If Rooty can't control his zipper, how can he control the country?
One news poll found 50% of women overall - and 48% of GOP women - are less likely to vote for Giuliani because he dumped his second wife Donna Hanover at a 2000 press conference.
Lots of women say Giuliani's assigning seven tax-funded bodyguards/drivers to his girlfriend while his wife was still NYC's First Lady was EVEN WORSE than Rudy's public humiliation of the mother of his children. "Rotten" is a word that came up again and again when women refer to Rudy.
WRT Rooty's "family values"----remember that some 82% of those polled had a problem with Rooty not attending his own son's graduation.
Let’s stop Rudy and Huckster the class-warfare Christian Socialist both.
Huck talking about Romney in Mich:For those of us for whom summer is not a verb, for those of us who didnt go to fancy boarding schools on the east coast, for those of us who didnt grow up with a silver spoon, who were lucky to have a spoon ask those folks and theyll tell you the economy is not doing well for them, says Huckabee.
Huckabee has run a dirty campaign, and his personal insults to Romney and Thompson are so-o-o-o unpresidential, it is shameful this guy has over 1% support. Those class-warfareish comments above are classic DEMOCRAT PLAYBOOK and are worse than the looney stuff Ron Paul says, who at least never gets personal.
Of course, it makes sense that Huckabee would sound like a John Edwards Democrat. He’s governed as one ... and he’s supported some:
Huckabee supported Democrats against Republicans: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1952701/posts
Huckabee worked to defeat a Republican, in a legislative race in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Huckabee helped Democrat Benny Magness in his race against Republican Shawn Womack. Womack won. In 2002, he supported Rep. Bobby Glover, D, over Rep. Randy Minton, R, in a state senate race.
Let’s kick Rooody to the curb!
Come on Florida!
I’m a Floridan, a transplant from New York City, and will NEVER vote for Rudy!
If that was hurting RINOs, why are McCain & Huckabee leading in the (national) polls? I'm a FRed supporter who'd vote for Rudy over McCain or Huckabee...
Lets kick Rooody AND Mccain to the curb!
I’d say its coming down to McCain or Romney for the top of the ticket, based on what I’m seeing across the country, and in Florida with this.
I don’t think Huckabee will win another primary. We’ll see.
The Republican nominee will be either McCain or Romney. No candidate from either party finishing lower than second in the New Hampshire primary has ever won their party’s nomination. Neither Thompson, Huckabee, Guiliani or Hunter will prove the exception.
Equally, no candidate not winning SC has either.
Huckabee is a disgrace.
His rhetoric would be better suited if we were trying to reclaim the Whitehouse, not hang onto it.
Clueless. Bizarre. Dangerous. Laughing stock.
McCain is the worst, followed by JulieAnnie.
If all the conservatives supporitng Romney, Huckebee, Thompson and Hunter coalesced behind one candidate, they would overwhelm both of them.
We will have a presidential candidate, the way things are going now, who lakcs the support of the majority of his party.
