Which candidate has mental disorder?
WorldNet Daily ^ | January 15, 2008 | Joseph Farah

The famed Mayo Clinic offers up some signs and symptoms for narcissistic personality disorder.

I'd like you to look over the list of telltale indications of this mental problem and decide for yourself if it applies to any of the presidential candidates – male or female.

Now, I'm no doctor, but I think it does apply to one in particular. Because I don't want to prejudice your diagnosis, I will not say which one. Here goes:

"Although some features of narcissistic personality disorder may seem like having confidence or strong self-esteem, it's not the same," the clinic continues. "Narcissistic personality disorder crosses the border of healthy confidence and self-esteem into thinking so highly of yourself that you put yourself on a pedestal. In contrast, people who have healthy confidence and self-esteem don't value themselves more than they value others."

Believing that you're better than others

Fantasizing about power, success and attractiveness

Expecting constant praise and admiration

Believing that you're special

You mean LIKE THIS?:

If you drop the last symptom from the list, it pretty much applies to the Democratic party as a whole.

Been there done that...read it studied it lived it with a boderline. You should try to be a little less snotty

Suggesting you read the DSM is not being snotty. When you're wrong, admit it. You do not know the diagnostic criteria for Borderline PD and your ignorance on this particular issue persisted in your replies, despite being corrected. Compare and contrast the DSM criteria for Paranoid, Borderline and Narcissistic PD, and you'll see that Borderlines are much more prone to physical, self abuse than the others.

You probably have to have a little of this disorder to even run. I have made my own chart, however, and all are free to pick it apart and disagree with it.

Clinton should get a circle over his score on Believing that You’re Special. He birdied that hole.

Yeah, don’t you have to be pretty puffed up about yourself to think you ought to be prez? These guys are all conceited beyond their abilities.

LOL!
Excellent, potlatch!

She was my first choice, too.

Looking at those pics, she really should have had some work done before the campaign.
Not that it would have helped much...;o)

I forgot he was running.

LOL! It turns out that even though he doesn't want to, Michigan won't let him stop. I'm starting a "Draft Kucinich" movement on FR.

"Kucinich for President - why settle for a candidate who's only half crazy?"
