I would love to see the cost of disposal on one Hybrid car battery reach 5k!! disposal and purchase fee is about the same. they cost new to install about 8k.
Plants that build these batteries pollute the ground worse than any oil well ever has.

I remember something about the length of the warranty on the batteries, 4 years?

You may be right but the Prius is still a green car. How do I know? Because the liberal elites say so. We are no longer capable of making rational decisions about energy usage. The market is not capable of determining economically viable technologies. Being considered green is now a market mandate. Cost and benefits are only a secondary concern.

Believe it or not, camel dung will cure an oil spill. The bacteria in the dung move over to the oil and eat it.

I don't think we're going to see any bacteria that can eat battery factory pollution.

A completely electric car emits poison gas when the batteries are recharging. Also, a barrel of oil whether used to generate electricity or run a gasoline engine, STILL USES OIL!

These ecofreaks are morons.

But, nuclear power emits none of the so-called "greenhouse" gasses. Hit them with that one and watch them squirm.
