we pay...they play....sure, they toss in a little to make it look good, and anyone can manipulate statistics....but its the workers and the middle class that gets stuck....
As if suite holders are the only one that benefit from havng a team in town. Local teams are often one of the few things Joe sixpack and your fatcats have in common. Bubba is having just as good a time at home as Mr. Fatcat is in the Suite, and he contributed far less to the project. Of all the things that tax payer money shouldn't be spent on but is, stadiums rank about 943rd.
Sure they should all build thier own, but in the history of the NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL they rarely have. Have 100 years of US sports history been a scam on tax payers?
