Now how often do you get that? News is almost always dire, bad, outrageous, etc. Well, here's some good news:
In family news...
Abortions are down to their lowest level since 1974 (the first full year after Roe...). Margaret Sanger—eugenicist, Nazi-darling, and founder of the left's beloved Planned Parenthood—must be rolling in her grave! What will they do? How will they stop all of these "undesirables" from being born, from breathing the fresh air of life and American freedom. Simply appalling.
Excuse the sarcasm, but in my view, even people who are pro-choice should be happy about this, but they won't be. They'll talk about overpopulation and unwanted babies and blah blah blah. Pro-"choice" my eye.
Oh wait, this is supposed to be a nice, good news post---not a bash-the-left post. Okay, I'll be nice.
The U.S. birth rate is once again back up to replacement rate. This is fantastic news! A society that is not replacing itself is doomed. Of course, as Captain Ed points out, the baby-hating left, this time in the person of the AP, is unhappy about it and attributes it to stupid poor people not having enough abortions. That's a stylized exaggeration, of course, but not by much...
Oh wait, this is still supposed to be a nice, good news post---not a bash-the-left post. Okay, I'll be good...
In economic news...
Things may not be as bleak as they are being predicted. Oh, did I say "predicted"? I meant to say "things may not be as bleak as the MSM, desperate to talk down the economy even more, would like them to be.
