LOL Interesting observation!
Luv that one!
That’s up for debate. Many of us believe we will be reunited with ALL of our loved ones when we go to Heaven, and that would include our pets.
Are you aware that the ambulance driver overheard the two survivors (while on the way to the hospital) making a pact with each other to keep silent and not cooperate? That little fact came out a week or two ago.
That's a cute Hallmark vision of heaven, but animals don't have souls, and many people will unfortunately have loved ones who are in hell and with whom they will definitely not be reunited.
A lot more likely than the tiger just snapped one day and decided to go on a rampage.
"Prayers" for some dead, man-eating animal whose carcass is now molding in the ground, and none for the two injured human beings? Wow.
Who cares if some animal was "taunted?" Zoo animals are "taunted" all the time. It's a ZOO!
A young man was mauled to death and two other young men were severely injured. Human beings, not animals.
Your priorities are very peculiar. I'll pray for the two survivors, and I'll add a prayer for you.
Amen.
Now why would they do that, I wonder? /s
Sorry, but animals are just as much God’s creations as are men. People who taunt caged animals are cowardly and ignorant, and not deserving of my prayers, nor anyone else’s.
“The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely no good.” -Samuel Johnson (this applies to people OR animals)
Re: You are aware that human beings and animals are different, I hope.
In the eyes of God, they are one and the same.
Why do you say that? What was very suspect about the circumstances?
Bump to 27. These good animals-before-bad men stories creep me out.
So you can SEE that people have souls and animals do not????
I will be waiting for proof of this.
Are they related to the two jerks in the Natalie Halloway case in Aruba?
It wouldn’t surprise me if a lawyer wasn’t contacted before the police had a chance to talk to the ‘victims’
This is definitely in the category of a once in a lifetime windfall...
Mommy, a tiger just bit me...that’s to bad dear, just shut up and I will call ‘Jackie Shields’
You say this with utter conviction and certainty, and yet at the same time have absolutely nothing to base this on.
Not according to the Bible.
Obviously you are not a Christian, but I am unaware of any religion that simultaneously holds the doctrines that you apparently hold: that animals and people are of equal value, that God exists, and that the soul is immortal.
Buddhism would hold that animals and people are of equal value but they do not believe that God exists. The same goes for Jains.
Priorities? You’d be on the side of two thugs? Would you also save, just for instance, Charles Manson before saving an animal? Not me. Even if the animal in question is a rat, which, in my estimation, would have more worth an Manson.
Well, you should be sorry for that statement.
God and Scripture tell us animals were put on this earth to serve man, not to be his equal.
People who taunt caged animals are cowardly and ignorant, and not deserving of my prayers, nor anyone else's.
Goodness. Now you're not only not praying for two injured human beings, but you're presuming to tell others who not to pray for. LOL.
Do you have any kids?
IF you had a son (yes, I know it's a hypothetical and any son of yours would probably know better than to taunt a tiger, but play along for the sake of argument) and your son unwisely taunted a tiger, would you think it only fair that your son be mauled to death by said tiger?
Would you tell us to pray for the tiger and not for your dead or dying son?
