COLUMBIA, S.C. – South Carolina Lt. Governor André Bauer, a popular politician from an voter-valuable Republican stronghold, has endorsed the candidacy of former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee.

Huckabee's recent endorsements have mostly come courtesy of C-list celebrity backers – the former governor is set to appear this afternoon with Chuck Norris and the wrestler Ric Flair, for example. However, Bauer's nod is surely a boost for the campaign, which has signed on few endorsements from sitting elected officials in the Palmetto State.

Sorry. Ric Flair’s endorsement is worth a LOT more than Andre “I know I was doing 100 in a 55 zone, but do you know who the hell I am?” Bauer. Bauer is a flake.

Hey Onerom99, you never did answer my question from another thread...which candidate do you support?

He won’t be reaching the White House if he’s depending on my vote...

It does say a lot that Huckabee’s been endorsed by Beasley and Bauer.

Popular? Hardly.

Andre didn’t do Huck any favors with this, that’s for sure.

I would support Michael Bloomberg’s third party candidacy. He is almost CERTAIN to run if it’s Huckabee vs Obama or Clinton, and he has a real chance to win!

Huckabee’s recent endorsements have mostly come courtesy of C-list celebrity backers.

And he would be a below C-list president.

It most certainly does.

What kind of a pathetic person lies about his athletic accomplishments to a group of school kids?

One Term Republican Governors, in a solidly Republican state, who get soundly defeated by a one term Democrat, who support Mike Huckabee. That's who!

Would there be a difference...

Ok, I’m sorry, I am being flippant.

Yes, there would be a difference.

Huck would have an R after his name when they show him on the news...

Huckster is the WORST candidate we can run with.

His record stinks.

‘the former governor is set to appear this afternoon with Chuck Norris and the wrestler Ric Flair,’

I almost had a fist fight with Ric Flair in Norfolk’s airport, circa 1979 or so. Thanksgiving morning waiting for the ticket counter to open.
