Homeland Security: Terrorists are increasingly looking to Europe as both a target and a staging ground for U.S. attacks. Their ticket may be the Visa Waiver Program, a major security loophole.
Most Europeans can come to the U.S. without visas — or background checks — under the waiver program.
"That means the first time we encounter them is when they arrive in the United States," Chertoff said, "and that creates a very small window of opportunity to check them out."
Unlike other foreign visitors, visa-waiver travelers are not required to disclose their place of birth, any previous citizenship or their visa history. These are key counter-terror indicators often denied U.S. security officials as they process European travelers.
While they can augment inspections at the airports, they still for the most part are blind to high-risk passengers boarding flights on the other side of the pond. Which makes in-bound flights a risk to both passengers and any likely targets in the flight's path.
Posing the greatest threat right now are Muslim citizens from Britain who were born in Pakistan or who recently have traveled to that al-Qaida hotbed.

This is not new!
Nope. Not new at all.
And, as the battle grounds in other areas get too hot and deadly for the degenerate scum we’re fighting, they’ll start showing up in more pleasant hunting grounds.
There’s still 10s, if not 100s of thousands of previously trained jihadi degenerates out there that will begin showing up where ever there’s an enclave for them to hide in and recruit from and a society too pathetic, weak, stupid and craven to allow itself to fight back.
Places such as Paris, Berlin, London, etc and so forth... hell is coming to you.
Not new yet our government refuses to stop the program.
The good news about having blue-eyed, blonde-haired, light-skinned terrorists is that finally the Left won’t complain about profiling on the basis of ethnicity. LOL
