Another guilt by association article. No evidence that Romney is involved in any way with the clients of his volunteer advisor. This is another non-story by the mormon-hating EternalVigilance.

By its own admission, the Dutko Global Advisors represents “sovereign governments,” non-governmental organizations, and “foreign entities.” Its “experts” are said to be good at forging “unique relationships with governments and multilateral institutions through the creation of public private partnerships.”
One of those foreign entities, according to published reports, is Citgo, the U.S. subsidiary of the oil firm run by Venezuela’s anti-American ruler Hugo Chavez.

Kaufman is a respected Republican insider. Maybe that’s bad. But it hardly makes all the kerfuffle you’ve given it worth the while.

Get real, Sol!
Romney is a shill for the World Government people. Businessmen are being deluded into believing that global business connectivity will prevent future wars. They’re deluded, because that is exactly what Europeans thought in 1910, and fat lot of good it did them!!

You might want to note that this thread has nothing to do with Mormonism, except to the extent that YOU have made it so.

Kaufman is a respected Republican insider. Right. Exactly the kind of insider that Mitt Romney is running around claiming to decry. It's hypocrisy writ large.

Exactly the kind of insider that Mitt Romney is running around claiming to decry. It's hypocrisy writ large. He's claiming to decry what, exactly? He said that Kaufman is an adviser. He denied that Kaufman is a major player in deciding policy. You can disagree with that answer, but I'm not sure it's that big of a deal.

You posted 50,000 words post to me about how bad mormons are last year. This had way too many names for me to follow, but I am pretty sure that everyone running for the presidency has people who know people who know people who know people. Besides, according to chris matthews, Mitt is a Kurd.

even though a whole crowd of them are running his campaignIs "two" a "whole crowd?" And is "advising" "running"? Words mean things. Especially to constructionists.

Vin Weber?!?
He’s a great guy. One of Newt gingrich’s crew back in the day.
Now he is in the business that Thompson was in and Guiliani was in.
It seems that if lobbying was anathema ... well, we’d have more serious issues with every other campaign before this one ...

Hey, it’s Romney who’s the one out there acting like lobbyists are demons, even though they’re some of his good friends and associates.
