I live in SC and unfortunately I think your friend is dreaming. There is more indications that Huckabee is on the move than Fred. I think Fred is going to finish a distant third (more than 10 points) or maybe even fourth behind Romney who is doing very little here now. Fred needed to spend more time in SC in Nov and Dec, not just the two weeks before the primary.

Why Huckabee though? Is it the Baptist Minister thing, or do they buy all his rhetoric on the issues of immigration, taxes, WOT, etc and actually believe him, despite his record?
