No. Unless you live in one of the handful of American cities where such transportation is even feasible—NY, Chicago, Boston and maybe one or two others—it’s just not going to happen. We like to live in suburbs, in big houses with bigger lots. We like to shop in malls. We live far too spread apart to make public transport a good option for most of us.
