District lessons teach 'erotic' sex techniques

A parents group is asking a judge to halt an explicit sex-education curriculum implemented by a Maryland school board that teaches homosexuality is innate and provides depictions of "erotic" sex techniques.

Brandon M. Bolling, of the Thomas More Law Center, told Judge William J. Rowan III that state law requires that information presented in public schools be supported with evidence, and the teaching that homosexuality is "innate" lacks that support.

He also argued that the lessons required by Montgomery County Board of Education teach students how to use condoms in violation of a state prohibition against material that "portrays erotic techniques of sexual intercourse."

The judge promised to issue a decision in a written ruling.

At issue is a series of lessons created by the Montgomery County school board for students that, opponents say, conflicts with the facts at hand.

"Declaring homosexuality to be 'innate' is a direct attack upon the ex-gay community and the possibility of changing one's sexual orientation," said Peter Sprigg, a Montgomery County resident and board member for Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays & Gays. He also served on the Citizens Advisory Committee that reviewed the curriculum.

"This statement was inserted into the curriculum at the last minute and was never reviewed by the Citizens Advisory Committee. It also directly contradicts the statement elsewhere in the curriculum that 'sexual orientation results from an interaction of cognitive, environmental, and biological factors,'" he said.

Bolling said the Maryland State Board of Education had abdicated its responsibility by allowing Montgomery County arbitrarily to decide that classroom discussions of oral and anal intercourse did not violate a state law against discussions of such "erotic" techniques.

Montgomery County Maryland needs an enema more than ever before.

They want ‘erotic technique’?

We’ll have somebody play a saxophone while that industrial-sized enema cleans ‘em out.

It’ll be interesting to see what (if anything) is left afterwards.

I bet there are a lot of so-called “Christian” teachers cooperating with this in their Maryland government schools.

True Christian teachers really only have two options:

1)Oppose, reject, speak out forcefully to the administrators and their students, and refuse to cooperate with those promoting this agenda. ( In other words: Get fired!)

2) Quit!

If a Christian teacher does anything less than the above he teaching his students some very negating things about Christianity. If the Christian teacher cooperates with and is silent about this curriculum the student learns:

1) Christian teachers will sell their Christian principles for a paycheck and a pension.

2) The student my conclude that Christians are so lukewarm, timid, and fearful about their faith that they don’t care to speak out or reject this program.

3)The student may conclude that Christian teachers have no other options but to teach in the government schools. In other words, Christians are too stupid to find other work. Students may also conclude that Christians don’t trust God’s Providence to help them find work in the free market.

4) Some have suggested to me, that Christians should tell their students that they don’t agree with the program. If Christian teachers do this, students will rightly conclude that Christians are too timid to tell the adults running the government school that it is a lie, but brave enough to tell KIDS! Wow! How brave! (sarc.)

5) Some Christian teachers have told me that they can sometimes spread a little “salt and light” and they might have some influence on some of the students. If Christian teachers think that they can slyly sneak in a little Christian “salt” , then they are teaching students that Christians are sneaky and sly! Geeze! What an “influence”! (sarc)

If Christ would spit lukewarm, timid, sneaky, sly, sellers of lies out His mouth, I don’t doubt that students would as well! Statistics seem to be proving me right. 85% of Christian children leave the faith within 2 years of graduating from high school. On the other hand, homeschoolers remain 90% or more faithful.

By continuing to teach in government schools, Christian teachers are making the job of the serious missionary much HARDER!

What should Christian teachers be doing?

1) They should consider their own children as their most important mission field. They should get their OWN kids out of the government schools.

2) They should be plainly and clearly encouraging other parents to get their kids out of the government schools.

3) The second most important mission field for any Christian teacher are the kids in his own congregation. He should be working hard with his or her minister to open mini-schools, homeschools, micro-schools, and one room school houses within his own congregation. With today’s technology expensive brick and mortar schools are not necessary.

4) Once the congregation has a well functioning system of schools, then invite in other non-members. Christian teachers could be a tremendous resource for ( and missionaries too) to these non-members in teaching good parenting skills, and introducing them to the gospel.

5) Finally, if Harvard can have a 35 BILLION dollar endowment, Christians could do the same for private Christian scholarship foundations. These private foundations could give private vouchers to private Christian schools. The foundations could certify the schools and prove testing for the children. Every child in this nation could and should have the opportunity for a FREE Christian education.

6) It is also time for Christians and Christian schools to break the government monopoly on team sports.
